Kurtis Lambert from Union Of Sorrows & Stranded
July 1st of this year will mark the three-year anniversary of when the game, Stranded, was released. It was the first game that I had released, and it’s based on one of the books that I had written. It’s a point and click text adventure game with several platformer minigames. The game features multiple endings, including the true ending. The story that the game is based on is Union Of Sorrows: The Beginning, which is a story about a young man named Kurtis Lambert and several others who go on a boating trip that goes wrong. The small group ends up on an unknown island, where they are faced with even more trouble. The book is the first of a series of seven, and it also has several spinoff series which include The Rebel Of Destruction, The Forgotten One, The Boss, Dreyken, The Key Of Insanity, The Noble Servant, The Frightful Drive, and The Rift Of Despair. Stranded is a game series that is based on the book series and as of now, there are three games in the series with a fourth one in the works. The book series is available at different bookstores including Amazon, Barnes & Noble. The game series is available on both .itch.io and Gamejolt.

The five-year anniversary of the Book, Union Of Sorrows: The Beginning, was just a few months ago (March 31st). It was my fifth book published. There were several things that were inspiration for the book, all of which would probably be least expected. During the early stages of development of the story, it was originally planned that one of the characters, Kurtis Lambert, would be killed off early in the series. As development of the story went further, there were second thoughts about the idea of removing him from the series. Instead, the decision was made to make him the main character of the story/series. Looking back, I’m glad I made the decision that I had made. Had I decided differently, and chose to kill Kurtis off, many of the other stories/series that I had written would’ve never existed. The story/series would’ve never been what it was and there may not have been a game series.
